UNARCO 101 is the basis of all things UNARCO. This course is designed to give you insight into the history of the company and the capabilities of the plants. It will look into who our competitors are and how to identify their products. This course will cover topics on all marketing resources that are available including the Rack Warrior, mobile app, online ordering for the QuickShip program, UNARCO social media, the Rack Engine design tool and what the standards are for common terms used in emails and marketing. Further courses examine certifications, industry memberships and even what the AMM means to our bottom line.

Common UNARCO Glossary
In addition to all of the common engineering terms, it is helpful to know the common UNARCO lingo used around the plant and offices. This is a fairly quick lesson on how the American Metal Market Index affects product pricing and relates to surcharge. It will briefly look at how much of the content of our product cost is related to steel pricing.

QuickShip Online Ordering

Truckloads
This lesson examines the different types and sizes of trailers and freight carrying methods used for rack transport including flatbed styles, vans and containers. Information from our shipping department on typical rack bundle sizes and freight cost calculation is also included.

This lesson will cover the galvanizing process and benefits as well as how to accurately calculate the additional costs of galvanized product.
Shipping Terms
This lesson discusses common shipping terms and freight lingo as well as important procedures to insure that freight is handled properly with every order. From FOB origin to 3rd party billing and how to get a freight quote, this lesson offers a dictionary of terms to understand freight and carrier information.
